We are seeking a passionate and committed Head Grower to join our team and play a pivotal role in our mission.
About The Role:
As the Head Grower at SERA, you will utilize your hands-on greenhouse experience and technical expertise in horticulture to serve as a crucial liaison between SERA and our clients. You will be responsible for guiding clients through seamless onboarding, advising on cultivation strategies, and actively participating in product development based on client feedback and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding and Support:
Guide clients through seamless onboarding, configuring SaaS services for data accuracy.
Provide ongoing support to ensure clients maximize the benefits of the SERA platform.
Cultivation Strategy and Advisory:
Conduct root cause analysis of cultivation problems and implement effective solutions.
Develop and implement cultivation strategies based on data analysis, research, and consultations.
Maintain a continuous feedback loop between strategy implementation and outcomes.
Customer Engagement and Feedback:
Actively gather and analyze feedback to enhance client success and promptly address any issues.
Utilize insights to contribute to the improvement of our product and user experience.
Innovation and Product Development:
Propose innovative features aligning with customer needs and market trends.
Collaborate with the product team to seamlessly integrate new features.
Project Management:
Act as a project manager for Proof of Concepts, ensuring timely execution and client satisfaction.
Monitor and report project progress, promptly addressing any issues.
Account Expansion:
Identify opportunities for expanding services within existing accounts, promoting additional platform features.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years work experience in a commercial greenhouse, preferably as lead grower or assistant grower.
Proficient in using climate computers, such as Priva, Hoogendoorn, Ridder.
Education in horticulture, agronomy, or related fields.
Strong data analysis skills using climate and plant data.
Horticulture advisory experience is a plus.
