Account Executive (Enterprise SaaS / Horticulture Focus)

About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join our commercial team and take ownership of account expansion and long-term customer value growth. You’ll work closely with growers and operators in some of the largest greenhouse enterprises in North America and Europe, building on our early traction to expand usage and increase TCV across multiple sites and regions.
You should bring a track record of closing large B2B SaaS deals, navigating complex decision-making structures, and understanding the nuances of enterprise relationships — ideally with experience in controlled environment agriculture or horticulture tech. You’ll collaborate closely with our technical and customer success teams and help shape our commercial expansion strategy as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Own a portfolio of existing and new accounts and drive account expansion through multi-site rollouts and upselling.
Identify, pursue, and close strategic opportunities to increase platform adoption and total contract value (TCV).
Develop a deep understanding of customer operations, pain points, and decision-making processes.
Collaborate with the founding team to refine our sales strategy, playbooks, and commercial offering.
Support proposal creation, pricing, and contract negotiations for enterprise deals.
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in our CRM.
Represent SERA at key customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Qualifications:
3–7 years of experience in enterprise sales or account management in a B2B SaaS environment.
Proven track record of closing and expanding large deals (6–7 figure TCV) in industries like agriculture, food production, or industrial tech.
Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities; English is a must.
Familiarity with greenhouse operations or horticulture/ag-tech is a strong plus.
Comfortable in a startup setting: resourceful, hands-on, and able to navigate ambiguity.
